The Menu

The origins of the Lowcountry Boil go back to the early culture of the Gullah/Geechee peoples of the Sea Islands along the coasts of Georgia and South Carolina.   Africans in the slave trade often brought with them not only cooking influences from their homeland, but Spanish and French cooking influences as well.

The Smoking Pot Lowcountry Boil includes local shrimp, corn on the cob, sausage, and red potatoes boiled on an open burner and seasoned to perfection and served with all the customary accoutrements.

Includes home made coleslaw and Key Lime Pie for dessert.

Lowcountry Boil

Nothing makes for a traditional lowcountry feast like a steaming pile of oysters served up on an open table.  The Smoking Pot chooses the best and cleanest local oysters and knows how to season and cook them to perfection.

We recycle all oyster shells at DNR certified collection areas.

Local Steamed Oysters

Local Steamed Blue Crabs

The Smoking Pot Blue Crab Boil features extra large local blue crabs boiled over an open flame, served up with all the tools and trimmings to create a traditional lowcountry feast for your event.

Our custom 12-person serving tables bring a beautiful hand-crafted vibe to the occasion.  Each table comes loaded with built-in table inserts and the full outfit of high-end lowcountry seafood regalia: oyster knifes, towels, cocktail sauce, hot sauce, and crackers.
